What I knew before.......
I thought ICT for learners was going to be the usual "learn about the parts of a computer". But it wasn't. I  learned more than that!

I thought before that using the computer was limited to the applications that were already in it. And everything else needed internet and that you had to pay. I was then introduced to the google drive that allowed me to share everything I learned to everyone. Then, I soon learned to blog, to use webquests, and furthermore use the online applications.

What I also knew before had changed. ICT for learners  as I knew was Information and Communication Technology. To communicate and share information using a telephone, the computer, all kinds of technology. But there is so much more to that!  I found out you can actually share things at the same time.

What I also learned along the way is to be responsible of what you are sharing because it is online, meaning it is public, everyone can read it. You must be responsisble know who you are sharing it with. What you must also know is that because you want to becareful of what your intellectual property others want the same. Yes, you should not steal their ideas. That will be called plagiarism.  I thought before the reason for sharing is to let people know  what you know, yet at the same time you should not copy what they made. It still confuses me but what I know is that you should at least acknowledge the authors.

ICT is really helping our lives. It connects the world but just remember to be responsible.
